Michael Cardoza is a 18-year veteran in the active lifestyle space. For ten years prior to joining Human Interest Group, he was an Owner and V.P. of Operations of four franchise locations of a leading fitness and wellness company in America. This entrepreneurial mindset made for an easy transition to HIG in 2011, where he took on the role as lead athlete manager and sponsorship sales.
After a short stint in the corporate financial world, Michael moved to London to pursue an MBA degree. There he had the opportunity to work for Arsenal F.C. of the English Premier League, giving him his first taste of business in professional sports. He also holds a Finance degree from leading business school, Bentley University.
Together with company founder Franko Vatterott, Michael has more than tripled the athlete clientele, making the company a global leader in endurance sports marketing and management. This growth drive has attracted athlete clients with close to 30 World Championship titles and 7 Olympic appearances. He has negotiated sponsorship agreements and developed marketing strategy with some of the leading brands in world.
Michael embraces an active lifestyle in Boston, where he manages HIG’s East Coast office.
