America’s #1 Ironman Athlete
Known for his deeply disciplined training, Hoffman’s journey through the triathlon ranks has shown steady success, highlighted by back-to-back Ironman victories in South Africa (2016/2017), Coeur D’Alene (2013), Wisconsin (2012), St. George (2012) and Lake Placid (2010), numerous Ironman 70.3 victories, a plethora of podium placings and a Collegiate National Championship title. Yet it was his 2014 Kona performance, wherein he swam 51:20, biked 4:32:20 and ran 2:51:25, working his way forward with fleet feet and steadfast determination from fifth position off the bike to finish second overall in a time of 8:19:23 that marked a major milestone for this standout talent. As the top American finisher at the Ironman World Championship at 31 and again at 33 years old, Hoffman is now poised as the USA’s next great hope for the coveted Kona crown. Hoffman lives primarily in Boulder, CO and Tucson, AZ. He has been a professional triathlete since 2007.
In 2018, The Hoff will get out of his comfort zone a bit and race the 8 day mountain bike stage race known as the Cape Epic. ITs a grueling challenge for even the strongest endurance athletes. While Ben will be riding for charitable purposes, a few weeks later he will attempt to defend his 2x Regional Championship Ironman title at the Ironman South Africa. As the focus the past few years, Ben will once again focus on winning Ironman Hawaii (but we're sure he'll mix in some Xterra). #AmericanVersatility

The Colorado Kid
Relatively speaking, there is a very small percentage of world-class endurance athletes who grew up on the western slope of Colorado. We're not talking the typical Boulder or Denver here, we're referring to the real wild west; Grand Junction! Whatever activity the young Ben was doing back then, you can bet he was doing it with speed, commitment and intensity. When The Hoff comes to work, he shows up serious and ready to go hard. He is precise, a deep thinker, and cool under pressure. Oh and he has unreal calves.
