USAT's 2018 Rookie of the Year Morgan Pearson looked to earn his 2018 award as the second year professional triathlete lined up at the 2019 ITU Grand Final in Lausanne, Switzerland.  Going up against the world's best, the uber talented collegiate runner demonstrated his last (and first) two years of triathlon training by finishing 11th overall and top sport for the Americans.  Exiting the water in the first chase pack, Pearson held onto to race contention with an outstanding 1:00:44 bike to place him right in the mix at the start of the run.  With a 10k time of 32:52, Pearson finished just outside the top 10 for one of his biggest results in his relatively short triathlon career, quite promising for the 2020 Olympic Games selection process.  Bravo Morgan!
