Another Podium’d Weekend!
Last weekend Tim Don took the leap to the dark side of Ironman racing and toed the line at the inaugural Ironman Mallorca. Tim managed to come away with the win at his first attempt at the distance. He did so by posting a 45:25 swim, a 4:51:21 bike and a 2:52:07 marathon and total time of 8:34:02. After speaking to Tim following the race he said, “Good day, lots to learn but kind of enjoyed it!!!! Not too smashed either, beers now then midnight finish.” We’re really looking to see what Tim can do at this distance now that the first is out of the way.

In the wake of the Ironman Lake Tahoe cancellation, Trevor Wurtele decided to pack his bags and head east, while he still had good IM fitness. Feeling strong Trev was hoping to add that second Ironman victory to his resume, but knew it wouldn’t come without a fight. IM Chattanooga would be the final race of his season, as he wanted to take on full Sherpa duty for his wife Heather in Kona this year, so we expected to see a hard effort out of him. To no surprise Trevor pushed hard all day long, but came up a bit short taking 3rd place at this inaugural event. His finishing time was 8:22,
