The Inaugural Abu Dhabi International Triathlon will take place this weekend in the United Arab Emirates capital city.  World Duathlon Champion, Leon Griffin and Luxembourg Olympian and top 10 Ironman Hawaii finisher, Dirk Bockel, will be competing against a star studded field in the custom distance multisport event of a 3k swim, 200k bike, and 20k run.  With a $230,000 prize purse, the professionals are treating this race only second in prestige to the World Championships in Hawaii and Clearwater.
