Leon Griffin Profile
Friday, 02 October 2009 13:27

Despite a cracked bike frame, Leon Griffin posted the fastest bike of the day en route to winning the Duathlon World Championships in Corner Brook, Canada in 2006. The victory put him in the elite ranks alongside the late Benny Vansteelant, 2x Ironman Hawaii winner Normann Stadler and ITU star Javier Gomez as past champions of the two sport discipline.

Griffin has tested himself over the last two years in the non-drafting short course races and more recently at 70.3 events. He has become a 70.3 specialist with his incredible cycling prowess and looks to add to his wins at Geelong 70.3 and Buffalo Springs Lake 70.3 in 2010.

Griff Rolls to his first Big win in the US (Buffalo Springs 70.3) and rolls in style back in Australia
